Awards Ceremony!

Last Tuesday the San Bruno Community spent their lunch hour commemorating the stellar businesses surrounding us all!

At the Third Annual, 2016 Excellence in Business and Community Awards Ceremony on June 20th, 2017, the San Bruno Chamber of Commerce presented the following awards to our community leaders. Held at Youtube headquarters, the company representatives were greeted with a warm welcome and a hot meal, as CEO Jamie Monozon announced the award winners over lunch.

In May of this year, the Chamber sent out a survey to the entire membership, and the San Bruno community through our e-newsletter and social media. The survey gave us all the information we needed to determine the best of the best in our community and through-out our membership. The award winners for Business of the Year was previously announced on this website several weeks ago, and if you wish to further congratulate these winners, please see the post made on May 26th.

In addition to these fine businesses, the Chamber also recognized several Chamber members, and their achievement of the Excellence in Business and Community Award. Congratulations to you all!

The San Bruno Chamber of Commerce would also like to congratulate the Rotary Club of San Bruno for the Profit of the Year Award, San Bruno Park School District for the Children’s Services Business of the Year Award, the Center for Independence of Individuals with Disabilities for the New Chamber Member Business of the Year, Jack’s Restaurant & Bar for the Restaurant of the Year Award, and last but not least the San Bruno Police Department for the City Department of the Year

A special congratulations to Shannon Welch for the City with a Heart Award and Judith Puccini for the Volunteer of the Year Award!

Nancy Krause also deserves warm praise for her achievement of not only the Bob Marshall Sr. San Bruno Legend Award but The Mayor’s Award as well!
